Reports To: FOH Manager

Roberta’s which opened in 2008, helped pave the way for the boroughs’ food scene, the pizza game, offering Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas, artfully crafted cocktails and a diverse natural wine program and quickly became a mecca for pizza and culture.  Roberta’s is actively expanding and is looking for talented people to join the family.

Servers are excited to see regulars walk in.  Servers have memorized the new orange BTG before pre-shift.  Servers know the farm it came from.  Their guests feel like the only table in the restaurant any time they touch the table.  Servers are leaders on the floor, and are respected by the rest of the staff.  Servers are fearless.  

The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for hospitality.  They must be energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a determination to provide guests with a memorable experience.  If this sounds like you, we hope you’ll consider applying. 

Qualifications:

• Commitment to hospitality

• Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service. Consistently execute them with efficiency and grace while multitasking and maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service
• Anticipate guest needs and create strong guest relationships. Guest recognition is critical to success.
• Create a warm, fun and exciting environment for bar guests to enjoy.
• Stay up to date on all beverage and food menu changes
• Demonstrate working knowledge of our natural wine program 
• Maintain a good working relationship with others by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working atmosphere
• 2+ years of high volume serving experience
• Candidates must have a flexible schedule.  Roberta’s is open for lunch and dinner service, 7 days a week.
