**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our new upscale fine-dining restaurant inside a members-only club. The Executive Chef will work closely with our Corporate Executive Chef on our Bar offering, ensuring the highest quality food and professionalism while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu development, managing the culinary team, maintaining budgetary control, and delivering an exceptional dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Culinary Leadership:**

- Plan, organize, and lead daily kitchen operations.

- Develop and execute creative, seasonal, and hyper-seasonal menus.

- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

- Taste and review products daily to ensure consistency and excellence.

**Team Management:**

- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage the culinary team.

- Conduct performance reviews, appraisals, and leadership meetings.

- Foster teamwork and collaboration between front and back of house staff.

- Ensure staff are trained in safe work habits and proper standards of practice.

**Operational Excellence:**

- Prepare and maintain the kitchen budget, managing food costs and payroll.

- Maintain rigorous health, sanitation, and safety standards.

- Oversee inventory ordering systems and proper food storage procedures.

- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with all regulations.

**Guest Experience:**

- Deliver an exceptional dining experience with a focus on enlightened hospitality.

- Ensure the bar offering includes an oyster bar, a small pizza selection, and an elevated New American style bar menu.

- Provide members with a private house experience, characterized by care and professionalism.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in fine dining and/or Michelin-starred restaurants.

- NYC Food Protection Certificate.

- Strong leadership skills with a professional and polished approach.

- Proven experience in menu and training development.

- Budgeting, food cost management, and payroll management expertise.

- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and a variable schedule.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities with attention to detail.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

- Annual Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
