The Salt Line Bethesda is looking for Servers!

Great opportunity to join the team at this established and thriving restaurant. The Salt Line Bethesda is Long Shot Hospitality's third location for the extremely successful and beloved DC born The Salt Line oyster and seafood restaurants, where "New England meets the Chesapeake". It was the most highly anticipated restaurant opening of 2023 for Bethesda and Montgomery County and already as it approaches just it's first year anniversary it has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of the Bethesda Dining Scene. Beautiful space and a steady lunch and dinner business every day of the week! Excellent opportunity for both seasoned veterans looking to join an established professional service team but also great opportunity for summer seasonal staff with the right experience, attitude, and level of commitment.

Our teams work hard, takes pride in what we do, treats our guests like friends, and have fun while doing it! Ideal candidates have both fine dining and high volume experience; are reliable, efficient and organized; are excellent TEAM players (pooled house), take genuine pride in a job well done and enjoy providing truly memorable guest experiences. Candidates bring a positive and professional approach to the position and possess a genuine passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and the restaurant business.

Little bit about us: The Salt Line concept combines the spirit of a New England Style Raw Bar and Fish House with the bounty of the Chesapeake and the energy of the Nation’s Capital. The original The Salt Line opened in spring of 2017 across the street from Nats park in the up and coming Navy Yard neighborhood. It was an immediate hit and quickly established itself as one of the most acclaimed and busiest bars and restaurants in Washington DC. Both loved casual neighborhood go-to and upscale fine dining destination, TSL has received numerous accolades including a coveted three stars from the Washington Post's Tom Sietsema. the 2019 Rammy for Chef of the Year to Kyle Bailey, and the 2020 Rammy for Favorite Gathering Place.

Building on the success of The Salt Line (DC), Long Shot Hospitality was thrilled to open its second The Salt Line in the bustling and energetic Ballston neighborhood. Opening in October 2021 also to immediate accolades and success, The Salt Line Ballston has established itself as a centerpiece of the Ballston/Northern Virginia dining scene and community and THE go to spot for upscale casual dining.

The Salt Line Bethesda opened in July 2023 as the third location and is our most attractive space yet. In just its first year The Salt Line Bethesda has already developed a loyal local following and is setting the bar for upscale casual dining in the Bethesda dining community.

Desired Qualifications:

Ideally 1-2 years of relevant high volume/upscale dining server experience
Basic professional level of knowledge of food, beverage and wine service
Positive attitude and friendly disposition
Professional, punctual, reliable
Team oriented mindset - we are a pooled house
Minimum of three shifts of availability
Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
