Warehouse 72 Restaurant is an exciting new restaurant in a brand-new Hyatt Regency Hotel in Irvine, CA that is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night!

Warehouse 72 Restaurant is more than a restaurant; it’s a cultural landmark where culinary mastery meets unparalleled hospitality! As a Sous Chef at Warehouse 72 Restaurant, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding our legacy of excellence. From training and managing kitchen staff to ensuring the consistent quality of food products, you'll be instrumental in crafting unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education and Experience: A two-year Associate college degree in Culinary Arts and at least 5 years of experience in a high-volume capacity.
  • Creativity and Quality Standards: Possess a high level of creativity and maintain high-quality standards in every dish.
  • Leadership Skills: Previous managerial experience is required. You should be a strong leader, communicator, and trainer who can inspire and motivate your team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Responsibility and Accountability: Assume responsibility for various tasks, including requisitioning food items, supervising employees during meal periods, verifying taste and presentation of food, ensuring proper equipment operation and maintenance, and controlling labor and food costs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef and other team members to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Orchestrates daily food requisitions with finesse.
  • Conducts a symphony of meal setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Ensures each dish is a culinary masterpiece in taste and presentation.
  • Wields a keen eye for detail to manage labor and food costs effectively.
  • Inspires a kitchen brigade with unwavering discipline and motivation.
  • Plays a key role in curating the culinary team, orchestrating schedules, and elevating performance.
