BeetleCat is looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to come aboard!  

The Sous Chef manages the hourly, back-of-house staff and assists in the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen including production, prep, special and private events, stewarding, purchasing and receiving. He/she will have a strong understanding and knowledge of various cooking methods and preparation techniques, ensuring all food is properly prepared and presented to guests in a timely manner. The Sous Chef will be able to effectively and professionally lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with the drive and ability to maintain a cohesive team, while efficiently delegating and working calmly under pressure. 3-years of progressive culinary experience preferred, one of which in a Lead Cook or Sous Chef position. Competitive salary: $55,000 – $65,000/yr. DOE + generous quarterly bonus program
