Job Details
Leopardo, the newest restaurant concept by Michelin-starred Chef Josh Skenes, is now open. We are looking for positive minded hospitality professionals at the top of their game. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled PM Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for culinary excellence, strong organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.

As a PM Sous Chef, you will be responsible for executing culinary creations from Chef Skenes to the highest standards. You will work closely with our AM Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure the quality and consistency of dishes, while also contributing to menu development and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to further develop their culinary skills and grow within a prestigious culinary environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu specifications and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Supervise and train morning kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
  • Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special promotions.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or relevant culinary certification preferred.
  • California Food Handlers’ Card required
  • Strong passion for food and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
