Job Details
Barbuzzo Private Events is accepting resumes for Executive Sous Chef of their private event space. We have a 3000 square foot space above Barbuzzo + our retail shop Verde. We host birthdays, baby showers, brunches, wedding rehearsal dinners, small weddings, corporate events etc... in our space. We seat up to 60 for sit down dinner to 100 people for cocktail parties. We usually have parties around the 30 to 50 people count. We may also have a party for 12 people! It really changes each week.

We are looking for a chef with experience in private events to work along side of Culinary Director for a period of 3-6 months learning our different seasonal menus for Hors d'oeuvres, Charcuterie + Cheese displays, Chef's Counter, Cocktail, Three Course Dinners, etc...
Candidates must be professional, welcoming, enjoy hospitality + speaking occasionally to the guests above the food, great multi taskers + overall have a great personality. The chefs are cooking + creating an experience for memorable moments for our customers.

You will be thoroughly trained in menus, scheduling cooks + dishwashers. Writing out your food lists for the week, some items come from our sister restaurants + some items you prepare. You MUST be an ORGANIZED chef who keeps an organized kitchen! You will schedule weekly deep clean of the kitchen with the porters + conduct deep clean of the station boxes with your cooks.

There is advancement + growth opportunity with this position! We are looking for someone to "treat this space as their own" + want to take over from the Culinary Director.
