Iron Gate, a D.C. institution, is looking for individuals with a passion for food, beverage, and hospitality. Our servers currenlty make $40-60/hr (hourly base + tips), and benefits are available for full-time employees. Experience is important, but we are most interested in hiring the right people!
Chef Antony Chittum features his ever-changing menu with Greek and Italian influences, sourcing from local purveyors wherever possible. Everything is made from scratch using only the best ingredients and features wood and charcoal cooking. Animals are butchered whole in house, seafood is sustainably sourced and there is a strong focus on supporting small local farms.
Iron Gate has been a continual recipient of awards and accolades in its ten years in Dupont Circle. The restaurant has been featured in The Michelin Guide, Washingtonian Magazine's "100 Very Best Restaurants," and Washington Post critic Tom Sietsema says "Count me pleased" with a three star review at Chef Tony's Italian and Greek inspired menu.
