Unconventional Diner, the first hospitality venture from the award-winning team behind L’ardente and Love, Makoto. We are currently looking for motivated, passionate, and experienced hosts for our FOH team at Unconventional Diner. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Guest Reception and Greeting
• Welcome guests with warmth and grace, offering the highest standard of the guest experience. 
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus, ensuring a seamless and elegant transition to their dining experience.
• Reservation Management:
• Manage and organize the RESY system, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and smooth flow of reservation throughout service.
• Maintain a courteous and customer service attitude while handling reservation inquiries and requests. 
• Assist and Coordinate in organizing events, private dining, and special occasions to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Appearance and Ambiance:
• Maintain the glamorous appearance and attire set by Unconventional Diner, reflecting the upscale nature of our establishment.
• Assist in maintaining the elegant ambiance within the restaurant, including any side work assigned to upkeep of the restaurant.
• Customer Relations: 
• Engage with guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are understood and addressed with the utmost care and attention.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests and concerns to uphold the best guest experience.

Qualifications and Skills: 

• 2+ Previous experience in a high- end restaurant, preferably in a host/hostess role.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills. 
• Ability to handle high – pressure situations, and conflict management. 
• Professionalism, poise, and a genuine passion to deliver the ultimate guest experience at Unconventional Diner. 
• Able to provide 3-4 shifts weekly; Saturdays and Sundays availability are required.
