The Bedford Post Barn is a casual dining restaurant in Bedford NY in the historic Bedford Post Inn. It is open for breakfast and lunch daily.
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. This role requires strong culinary skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional food experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a line cook executing menus for The Barn restaurant
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to high-quality standards
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new recipes and seasonal special items
- Maintain inventory control and order necessary supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Contribute to a friendly and efficient team environment
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $23.00)
