Pomegranate Hospitality is looking for an experienced, passionate Sous Chef to lead the incredible team of Saba, the modern Israeli restaurant located uptown.

Overview: A Sous Chef for any Pomegranate Hospitality concept is a part of the management team responsible for teaching and overseeing daily culinary operations, achieving consistent food quality standards and ensuring the company core values are being executed. This role will manage the development of the Culinary facility, operating culinary systems and team and create a successful working relationship with the Service Team. It is essential to have a strong hold on the company's culture and values to ensure they are implemented everyday with each team member. 

What we hope you bring to the team:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a high-volume culinary establishment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation.
  • Proficient in menu planning, recipe development, and food cost management.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
