**Role Summary:**

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of bar operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and profitability. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Operational Management:**

- Oversee daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.

- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure adequate supplies and minimize waste.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including local licensing laws.

2. **Team Leadership:**

- Recruit, train, and manage bar staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide training, and encourage team cohesion.

- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

3. **Customer Experience:**

- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction at all times.

- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently.

- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the guest experience and drive repeat business.

4. **Financial Management:**

- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

- Monitor financial performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

- Control costs and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.

5. **Marketing and Promotion:**

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events.

- Utilize social media and other marketing channels to enhance the bar’s visibility and attract new customers.

- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community groups.

6. **Strategic Planning:**

- Identify opportunities for business growth and development.

- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities.

- Implement innovative strategies to stay ahead in the competitive market.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in a high-end bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Proficient in financial management and budgeting.

- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Passion for mixology and the hospitality industry.

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
