Job Title: General Manager

Salary Range: $80-90k

Location: Los Angeles, CA

A notable restaurant group seeks a dynamic GM to oversee day to day operations as well as the development and scheduling of the team (from managers to hourlies) at their Echo Park, CA location. The GM ensures all FOH and BOH employees are trained, certified, understand, and follow quality standards.

The General Manager ensures guests receive superior service and the team upholds operational and human resources policies and procedures. The GM drives sales and costs (COGS) and makes sure operating expenses meet budgeted goals

The GM will effectively communicate to the team and corporate office, ensure the restaurant is properly cleaned, maintained and that all equipment is working properly. Ensure restaurant meets all Health Department standards and codes, and all tribe members are complying with all safe food handling procedures and sanitation standards

Requirements:

The GM needs to be:

• Able to speak, see, hear, read, and write English
• Able to handle stressful situations, resolve conflict and be an excellent listener
• Able to reach with hands, climb, balance, taste, and smell
• Able to bend, stoop, perform extensive walking and up to 10 hours a day or more standing and/or performing other physical tasks as needed
• Able to lift 50lbs and carry 10 feet
• Able to comprehend and articulate complex ideas
• Able to work at least 50-55 hours a week or more as needed, must have flexible schedules and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
