Ruffian is a renowned wine bar with a small but mighty open kitchen nestled in the East Village. We are seeking a skilled and passionate cook/baker to join our dynamic culinary team! Our cuisine is vegetable focused, with an eye towards Eastern and Central Europe. Our menu changes seasonally and we enjoy the privilege of being able to shop and source many of our ingredients weekly from the Union Square Greenmarket.
We are offering a starting salary of $21-25/hr depending on experience. Full time benefits include: health insurance, PTO, commuter benefits and dining discounts. We pay half the cost of a basic insurance plan for all full-time BOH employees. We are a great restaurant to further your culinary passion, explore your creativity, and grow your career.
