Queen's English is a Michelin Bib Gourmand Hong Kong style Chinese restaurant. We are a small team looking to add to the front of house staff. Seeking a hosts and servers. You will be working closely with the owner and the rest of the team.
If you are applying make sure you can commit, once hired, to at least a year with the team, we are not hiring for a seasonal employee.
Hosts:
must keep a cool head under pressure and be extremely organized and assertive. Experience with Tock reservation system is a plus, but we are willing to train a motivated and positive individual! Must be able to learn the menu, wine etc and also run food and drinks as we are a small team and all members are expected to jump in and help. This position is paid hourly plus tips.
Servers:
we have an extensive natural wine list that we will train you on, but a basic knowledge and willingness to learn is key. Must be quick moving and be able to thrive under pressure!
Must be able to lift 40 lbs and be comfortable on your feet for extended amounts of time.
