About Us:
The Wells is an intimate gin bar designed for conversation and connection, offering a sophisticated cocktail experience. We are dedicated to hospitality and the art of gin. Our mission is to let the spirit speak for itself while providing an elevated bar experience for our guests. Our team of professionals works together with integrity and grace to transform the hospitality industry. We are open Tuesday through Sunday nights, with shifts starting at 3 p.m.  

Our chefs include Rammy-nominated Katarina Petonito and Pastry Chef Rochelle Cooper, who bring exceptional culinary expertise and creativity to our team.  We are a James Beard Finalist Group!

What We Offer:
At The Wells, we've adopted a unique pay model to provide a higher hourly rate, independent of gratuity. Our aim is to create a more equitable pay structure where service and kitchen team members are compensated equally. As a bartender, you'll earn $21 per hour plus 8% of pooled food and beverage bar sales, and a 5% commission from our beverage cloud (divided among bartenders working the shift). Gratuities left by guests are shared among all front and back-of-house team members based on hours worked.

Responsibilities:
- Service execution and support, including opening and closing the bar
- Cocktail preparation and execution
- Creating memorable guest experiences
- Honoring ingredients and executing house recipes

Qualifications
- Cocktail bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of spirits, especially gin
- Timeliness and reliability
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
