Job Details
The FRONT SERVER guides the guest through the tasting menu experience and ensures that the flow of the table is seamless. Responsibilities include:
- Confidently describing and telling the stories of the dishes on the tasting menu, including contextual and cultural information for guests less familiar with Indian cuisine
- Using your knowledge of wine to assist guests when needed with the by-the-glass list as well as having the ability to pour wine pairings for tables when the Sommelier is occupied with other guests
- Possessing knowledge of spirits and cocktails so as to effectively describe the cocktails on our menu in relation to what guests have had prior
- A genuine love for warm and precise hospitality
- An eagerness to learn and work dynamically with your team. With a tip pool structure, everyone is expected to step in wherever needed and put the guest experience first
- The ability to direct and work in tandem with your Back Server, and embody the team sport mentality; no positions in our FOH take precedence over any other
- The ability to remain organized, proactive always before being reactive, anticipating anything the guest needs, and the restaurant itself
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time [over 5 hours]
- Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily
- Be comfortable with repetitive movements like bending, sitting, and walking extended distances

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($9.48) plus tips
