Jack & Charlie’s 118 is seeking a qualified restaurant manager to join their team.

 

Located in the heart of the West Village, Jack & Charlie’s 118 serves a traditional American menu, focusing on wood-fired cooking, classically crafted cocktails and detail oriented service. The design, influenced by the traditional dinner clubs of NYC, London, and Paris, includes multiple dining rooms and a raw bar.

 

The ideal candidate should possess a commitment to elevating all aspects of the guest experience. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and sense of urgency are imperative, as are the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time proficiently. You should have a genuine passion for hospitality, with the desire to grow professionally.

 

Responsibilities:

Assisting with the hiring, training, developing, scheduling and management of all FOH staff
Maintaining the highest levels of service and hospitality
Motivating and mentoring staff’s knowledge and development
Oversee guest services and resolve issues
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

 

A minimum of two years’ management experience in food and beverage
Bachelor's degree in hospitality and\or culinary arts is welcome, but not required
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
Excellent written and communication skills
Extensive knowledge of food ingredients and cooking techniques
Good knowledge in wine, spirits, and beverages
Strong understanding of dining room dynamics and service standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Toast and reservation systems
NYC Food Handler's Permit
Ability to lift 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time

Employment Type

Full-Time

Compensation commensurate with experience.


Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)
