POSITION TITLE: General Manager - Oceans Casino Resort

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead & manage the entire restaurant team, assist in hiring, training & scheduling staff members & delegating AOR’s to management team.
    • Lead by example- touch tables, be available during service, address negative impressions and encourage guests to return.
  2. Customer Experience:
    • Ensure an upscale dining experience for guests from entrance to exit.
    • Ensure staff is knowledgeable on all products, steps of service & how to effectively upsell.
  3. Financial Management:
    • You manage the restaurant's budget, monitor expenses, and maximize profitability while upholding the restaurant's reputation for quality and luxury.
    • Participate in periodic P&L meetings with corporate team.
  4. Menu & Cocktail Development:
    • Collaborate with corporate directors to develop popular menu items, increase sales & accurately reflect the restaurant’s concept and clientele.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor the restaurant’s business & guest feedback to ensure the staff is providing the best experience possible.
    • Continuously suggest improvements & implement necessary changes to ensure the Schulson Collective standard is always met.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large FOH team efficiently.
  • Experience in Casino Restaurants 
  • Experience in high volume, upscale restaurant management
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Experience with restaurant financials, labor costs, FOH inventory, ordering & budgets
  • Strong strategic planning, financial management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
