Santa Panza is looking to hire a Server/ Bartender for 4-5 shifts per week. Looking for someone to split between floor server shifts and bartending shifts. Applicants with a demonstrated work history in both bartending and serving will be prioritized. Strong wine, amari and liquor knowledge is a must. Weeknight availability preferred, Sunday availability will be a prioritized.

ozy trattoria featuring Neopolitan pizzas, pastas & Italian mains, small plates, entrees, and a full bar program. We are looking to add a bartender who is also flexible in picking up serving shifts. We are looking for self starters, creative, motivated, kind and hospitable candidates with a strong work and self-awareness.

Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:
- 2 years of New York City restaurant experience (bartenders: at least one year high-volume bartending experience)
- Strong general knowledge of food and food preparation (experience with italian cuisine preferred)
- Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, etc.)
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Familiar with at least one POS (Toast preferred)
- Able to take direction well from both restaurant managers and the Chef
- Strong communication skills and solid team work
- Interest in the NYC dining scene and the world at large, whether that be art, dance, fashion or books. Bring your creative energy!
Job Duties Include:
- Full bar knowledge, proper measuring and basic cocktail history (bartender only)
- Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests.
- Prepare items needed for the day in the beginning/during and at the end of each shift.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Be available to work serving shifts as well as bar shifts
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow co-workers as situations arise.
- Willing to assist with clearing and resetting tables.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager.
