Job Description:
As the Assistant General Manager at Shiraz Kitchen, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee various aspects of the business, including customer service, employees management, operations, and administration. Your leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the high standards of excellence that define the shiraz kitchen experience.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate employees, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff, to ensure exceptional customer service and performance excellence.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, reservations, seating arrangements, and guest interactions.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively to ensure a positive dining and entertainment experience.
- Financial Management: Assist in managing budgets, expenses, and revenue targets, with a focus on maximizing profitability while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for emplpyees to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and supplies, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and efficient stock management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating special events, parties, and promotional activities, collaborating with marketing and PR teams as needed.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and local community members to enhance the reputation and visibility of Shiraz Kitchen.
- Other responsibilites as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership abilities, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in restaurant POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, industry trends, and best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
