Acclaimed cocktail lounge in Harlem looking for a dedicated and talented cook during evening hours (5-11 PM). We are a small, intimate bar with a limited food menu. The mini kitchen requires a cook who is self-motivated, who can plate well, be creative and organized. 

The applicant must have:

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar kitchen with a minimum of 1 year of experience. He/she/they will be running the kitchen solo, and will already have mastered basic kitchen skills.

A sense of organization and cleanliness - it’s a small kitchen visible from the front of the house; it needs to be kept thoroughly organized and sparkling clean at all times.

The ability to work well under time pressure, and handle multiple orders at once to ensure everything is going out to guests as quickly as possible.

A team player demeanor, who can sometimes assist others with the goal of  providing exceptional customer service and high quality goods.

**NYC Food Handlers Certification is mandatory.
