Yellow Union Market, a cafe from Chef Michael Rafidi, is opening soon! Chef/owner Michael Rafidi takes inspiration from his family’s Palestinian roots, bringing to the table an experience that melds the ancient tradition of the region’s coal-fired cuisine with local, seasonal, Mid-Atlantic ingredients and a refined culinary acumen. The NEW Union Market location of YELLOW, expands on the lunch offerings with pastries which meld Levantine ingredients with classic French technique, pita sandwiches and inventive coffee offerings!

We are looking for enthusiastic Baker & Pastry Cooks to expand our team, who are excited about bringing a sincere sense of hospitality to a great space on Morse St in the heart of Union Market. We are interested in growing you and growing with you in your career by providing training and leadership opportunities.

The AM Pastry Cook will prep pastry, bread, viennoiserie and some savory menu items to support both breakfast and lunch services.  Minimum 1 year experience required.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $20.00) plus tips
