l'abeille is a 48 seat French “Bistronomy” Restaurant in the heart of lower Manhattan in Tribeca headed by Chef Mitsunobu Nagae, who has extensive experiences in haute cuisine at multiple Michelin-Starred restaurants in Tokyo (L'Osier, Chateau Restaurant Joel Robuchon), Paris (Ledoyen), and New York (L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Shun). His vision for the Restaurant is to provide the kind of food one would be served at great restaurants in France - highest quality food served in a friendly, non-formal environment is the core concept of our dining experience.

We are seeking strong candidates with love and passion for French cuisine to be a member of our team as Pastry Chef de partie

  • At least 2+ years experience as a pastry cook in French dining setting.
  • A desire to learn and grow in an exciting & quickly changing environment
  • Sense of urgency
  • Able to prepare ingredients and setup station mise en place for service
  • Able to keep your station clean and organized during and after your shift
  • A working understanding of sanitation codes and DOH regulations
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the savory team
  • You will be working directly with the Pastry Chef to produce and execute our dessert menu while maintaining the high quality and standards set forth by the restaurant.
