Acclaimed restaurant in midtown is seeking a pastry sous chef who will be support our Executive Pastry chef in the oversight of our pastry department.
We are looking for candidates who have strong technical cooking skills, a flexible and collaborative work ethic, as well as a passion for fine dining! Our pastry program includes plated desserts, ice creams, breads, breakfast pastries, specialty cakes, and a chocolate program. Candidates should be able to take direction with the expectation of executing daily prep, services & events without supervision.
Candidates will be required to prepare a tasting, as well as complete a series of interviews with senior staff and partnership. Positive attitude and problem-solving skills are a must.
