Position Overview:
As a Cashier/Barista, you will play a dual role, handling both the cashier responsibilities and crafting high-quality coffee beverages. You will also be the face of our restaurant, responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient payment process for our guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a passion for providing a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cashier Duties:
-Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
-Process customer orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
-Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment with precision and efficiency.
-Provide guests with receipts and any necessary information about their orders.
2.Barista Duties:
-Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
-Take customer preferences into account, such as adjusting coffee strength, sweetness, and other customizations.
-Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, including regular cleaning of equipment.
-Stay informed about coffee trends and provide recommendations to guests.
3. Customer Service:
-Address customer inquiries, take orders, and provide information about menu items.
-Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for guests by delivering excellent service.
4.Order Coordination:
-Communicate customer orders accurately and promptly to the kitchen staff.
-Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
5. Maintain Cleanliness:
-Keep the cashier and coffee station areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
-Monitor and replenish supplies, such as napkins, cups, and condiments.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in cashier and barista roles is preferred but not required.
-Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
-Familiarity with POS systems and coffee brewing equipment.
-Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
