Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Lead, train, develop and motivate a diverse team of staff
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences through high-quality service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets and operational goals
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and health standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively
- Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with chef and kitchen team to maintain quality and consistency
- Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Requirements:
- 2 years (minimum) of experience as a restaurant manager
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Highly organized, systems-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen and financial management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while effectively prioritizing guest needs
- Experience with Toast, Open Table, Google Workspace, Excel and Word are preferred
- Must be able to give and take directions well
- Food safety certification (e.g., Food Handler, Basset)
- Physical requirements include but not limited to the ability to handle and carry trays, smallware, equipment, or other items up to 50lbs, and to stand, walk up and downstairs, and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time
- Full-time position with entrepreneurial hours. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Bachelor or Associates degree preferred
