The Dinex Group is seeking a Head Banquet Captain to lead the banquet team at a new Venue opening in 2025.
The Head Banquet Captain will oversee the day-to-day operations of the catering services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service, a keen eye for detail, and strong leadership skills to manage a team of catering staff effectively. This role requires strategic planning and operational coordination to ensure the success of the catering team.
Essential Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, delivery logistics, and service execution.
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement to maintain sufficient supplies while minimizing waste and costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all catering facilities.
- Oversee event setup, service execution, and breakdown
- Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during events, implementing solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Schedule staff effectively
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their catering needs and expectations.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- 3 years in a Banquet Captain or Maitre D role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and holidays

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($35.00)
