The Hotel Chelsea is looking for an experienced and hospitality driven crew of event servers and bartenders to join our team! Here at the Hotel Chelsea, we produce a large number of private events, including intimate private dining experiences in each venue, large buyouts of our event spaces and restaurants, and in - suite events. These events often include high profile guests and services in large volumes, where we are committed to providing a professional, and upscale experience for each and every one of our guests!
Event Server:
As an Event Server at the Hotel Chelsea, you will be expected to have a first rate knowledge on event services in different styles. During events, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Ability to take direction and follow through with tasks with self sufficiency

Setting up and Breaking down events.
-
Serving canapes and serving food for all services.
-
Taking food and beverage orders with a full knowledge of our menu.
-
Bussing and polishing glassware, flatware, and plateware.
-
Assist in the cleaning and storage of any and all event items and event spaces.
-
Ability and experience providing exceptional and quality service to high profile celebrity and VIP clientele.

Lifting and moving venue furniture up to 50 lbs
-
Going above and beyond to accommodate requests.
-
Maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude and environment for everyone involved.

Superb organization and listening skills.

A positive and prompt work ethic
-
Ability to be on your feet and working for long shifts up to 10 hours.

Ability to operate and react appropriately in high pressure situations.
Event Bartender:
As an Event Bartender at the Hotel Chelsea, you will be expected to have a first rate knowledge on event services in different styles. During events, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Ability to take direction and follow through with tasks with self sufficiency

Ability and experience providing exceptional and quality service to high profile celebrity and VIP clientele.

A strong knowledge of a wide variety of classic and modern cocktails, wine and beer.

Setting up and breaking down events.

The ability and willingness to set up and break down a bar to the fullest extent.

Bussing and polishing glassware.
-
Occasional tableside wine service.

Assist in the cleaning and storage of any and all event items and event spaces.

Lifting and moving venue furniture and bar product up to 50 lbs

Going above and beyond to accommodate requests.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($27.00 - $35.00)
