**Join Zaru's Culinary Team as a Sous Chef!**

Join our team at Zaru as a Sous Chef! We're passionate about authentic Japanese cuisine, especially our hand-made UDON noodles. We're seeking a detail-oriented Sous Chef to help elevate our UDON creations.

What You'll Do:
  • Food Quality & Precision: Ensure the highest quality in food preparation and presentation, delivering exceptional UDON dishes that consistently exceed our guests' expectations.
  • Collaboration: Report to and assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen output, working together to control quality and follow recipes meticulously.
  • Open Kitchen Interaction: Engage with customers directly in our open kitchen environment, enhancing their dining experience through excellent customer service and communication.
  • Sanitation & Compliance: Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Inventory Management: Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate food storage logs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, ensuring that all kitchen staff adhere to company standards and procedures, fostering a positive team environment.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook, preferably in Japanese cuisine.
  • Skills: Proficiency in various cooking methods, kitchen procedures, and industry sanitation standards.
  • Personality: Strong organizational skills, the ability to communicate clearly with customers, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. Culinary school training is a plus.
  • Passion: An unwavering passion for Japanese cuisine and hand-crafted UDON noodles.
