Position Overview:
As the Bar Manager at FARMSHOP, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operation, including beverage preparation, inventory management, staff supervision, and guest service. You will work closely with the Director of Operations, Director of Culinary and other team members to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to FARMSHOP's standards and recipes.
- Welcome and engage guests at the bar, providing recommendations and information about our beverage offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
- Uphold FARMSHOP's standards of hospitality and professionalism, providing friendly and attentive service to all guests.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Qualifications
- TIPS or similar responsible beverage service certification required.
- Previous experience as a bar manager in a high-volume fine dining restaurant or bar preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages, with the ability to craft creative and well-balanced drinks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00) plus tips
