Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
The Client:
I am working with a distinguished culinary destination, renowned for its exceptional Italian cuisine and inviting atmosphere, is currently seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join their team. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to lead the kitchen in a renowned dining establishment, a lot of growth opportunities, lively atmosphere, and company perks!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the culinary operations, ensuring guests are provided with an outstanding experience
- Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and to the highest standards
- Recruit a high performing team. Train staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Establish appropriate staffing levels and conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members
- Manage inventory, labour and food costs
Chef de Cuisine Requirements:
- 3+ years of kitchen management experience in a similar role
- Possess a hands-on attitude
- Strong financial acumen and leadership skills
- Genuine passion for food and dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences
