SSAL - a Michelin-starred restaurant in Russian Hill - is hiring to add motivated, professional individuals to our team.

We have opportunities for the following positions:

1. Dining Room Captain

-minimum 2 years of experience as a tenured server in a tasting menu restaurant.

2. Backwaiter

To be successful in our restaurant you will have to be intelligent, mature, professional, resourceful, and dependable. We would like to work with people who are consistent and accountable. We need experienced professionals who will inject an element of leadership and a productive attitude into our team.

Tenure in a tasting menu restaurant is a huge plus. Knowledge of Korean cuisine and culture is a huge plus. Wine knowledge is a huge plus. Civility is essential.

We offer health and dental insurance after 90 days of employment.

We will consider candidates for both full-time and part-time positions. Full-time employees are preferred.

Placement and compensation will be based on experience and performance with regular evaluation.
