Job Details

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Choy. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting our Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills, experience in pastry and pasta production is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong communicator and experience in leading a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food presentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with FOH & BOH
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)
