FLOOR MANAGER

Saluhall is seeking a dynamic and attentive Floor Manager to join our Food Hall Operations team. 

The Floor Manager will support the Food Hall Operations Management team with various projects, including inventory, food hall maintenance, service SOP, team mentorship and guest service needs, while ensuring the Saluhall flow of service is seamless. The Floor Manager will report to the Assistant General Manager and Operations Manager.


Essential Job Functions of Floor Manager

  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and regular staff training.

  • Train all employees on steps of service, sequence of service and hold them accountable to the standards, while ensuring daily operational tasks are performed and completed.

  • Ensure all areas of Saluhall are constantly maintained for cleanliness and practice all necessary sanitation methods to ensure food safety standards are followed.

  • Ensure departmental company policies are followed.

  • Maintain Saluhall flow of service

 

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years restaurant Floor Supervisor experience, food hall experience strongly preferred 

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Experience with all California Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Practices and Standards–current Food Handler certification, or the ability to acquire within 30 days of hire

  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms

  • Local to the San Francisco market area, no relocation is provided for this role


Specific Job Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle stressful situations and be able to prevent and/or handle emergency situations

  • The ability to work well under pressure, while providing courteous and professional service

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bi-lingual English/Spanish  is preferred.


Compensation range for General Manager: $66,560 - $67,000

Saluhall offers medical, dental and vision coverage options, including a 100% employer paid option for employee medical coverage. Additionally, vacation accrual up to 10 days annually, 10 recognized holidays, and sick pay accrual.

Compensation: Salary ($67,000.00 - $70,000.00)
