About the Server Position:

As a Server at PERILLA Korean American Fare, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities include mastering menu knowledge, providing attentive and efficient service, and ensuring guest satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. Additionally, you're tasked with maintaining a clean and organized workspace to uphold our standards of excellence. Key tasks include: 

  • Efficiently performing opening, closing, and deep clean duties. 
  • Participating in pre-shift meetings and actively engaging with the team, ensuring a present and attentive presence throughout
  • Greeting and taking orders from every table in a professional and respectful manner
  • Accurately and efficiently placing orders on our POS with clear and concise notes for the kitchen when necessary
  • Ensuring all drinks and food make it to your table in a timely manner
  • Setting, clearing and resetting tables
  • Watering tables
  • Proper tray technique and maneuverability 
  • Maintaining and cleaning dining room, restrooms, beverage station, and waste station areas
  • Providing guests with containers to take any food home with them
  • Practicing the correct procedure when sending guests home with alcoholic beverages
  • Confidently interacting with our grills and cooking on them however long is necessary
  • Consistent maintenance of acquired knowledge and skills of your position

The name is an homage to our parents who are first generation immigrants that traveled to foreign land and rooted themselves on new soil. Our food is centered around a communal dining experience. Inspired by Korean flavors and ingredients, we offer our approach on many traditional classics and modern Korean dishes paired alongside new and exciting takes created by Chef Andrew Lim to represent the second generation of Korean Americans and the food we love to enjoy and share.

Compensation Information:

  • Paychecks are provided weekly every Thursday
  • We offer direct deposit through ADP

Position Requirements:

  • Must have availability on: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • You will be required to obtain all necessary certificates including a Food Handlers Certificate, BASSET Certificate and an annual Sexual Harassment Training Certificate

Benefits Information:

  • Health Insurance available after 90 days of employment for full-time employees averaging 32 hours a week
  • You will be provided with daily staff meal
  • Employee discounts for dine-in and take-out at all of our restaurants
  • We provide in-house education such as beverage and food tastings
