Job Title: Front of House Team Member (Lead Server, Server, Busser)

Company Overview:

Welcome to The Social Club- Our soon to be open club will be a coffee shop by day and a party by night. Casual yet refined, the space will be used to welcome returning guests into a space that is both a raucous party and a perfect place for a date. We are looking for hard working and curious individuals to join our team. Service will take place Thursday - Saturday, and the space will close at 12. 

Shift and Schedule:

Part-Time: 20-25 Hours

The Role:

As a vital member of our front-of-house team, you'll play a role in ensuring seamless dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass various parts of guest interaction, service coordination, and venue maintenance, contributing to the overall success of The Social Club.

Lead Server Responsibilities:

Maintain proper flow of service while upholding service standards, product quality, and cleanliness

• Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to inventory, invoice coding, and other tasks assigned as needed
• Assist in executing new initiatives and service protocols through staff training
• Interact with guests to ensure service and food quality
• Cultivate relationships with guests to create return business
• Drive and support the continual development of FOH team members by upholding performance expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and offering input for regular performance reviews
• Fluency with Resy and Toast POS, and be able to provide assistance and/or troubleshooting
• Lead by example in properly executing service standards and protocols
• Lead pre-shift and offer instruction to the FOH team
• Become familiar with the property and standards set forth via The Social Club 

Server Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive and friendly service to guests.
• Assist in restaurant setup and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure efficient service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and address any inquiries or concerns.

Busser Responsibilities:

•  Job responsibilities include clearing tables, setting tables, polishing silverware, assisting servers and bartenders.
• English not required

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic startup environment and a willingness to grow within the company.
• Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software applications.
• Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, and a collaborative spirit.
• Previous front-of-house experience in a professional, service-oriented setting.
• Familiarity with high-volume food and beverage operations.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
