The Dinex Group, restaurant group of internationally acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for a Reservationist to join the centralized reservationist team! As a Restaurant Reservationist you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our dining reservations. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and organized flow of reservations, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday
Shifts:
- Day time shift: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Afternoon/Evening shift 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Reservation Management:
- Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure efficient seating arrangements.
Customer Service:
- Provide information about the menu, special events, and restaurant policies.
- Address customer concerns and ensure a positive dining experience.
Communication:
- Collaborate with other team members to relay important information regarding reservations and special requests.
- Communicate effectively with guests to confirm, modify, or cancel reservations.
Problem Resolution:
- Handle reservation conflicts and find suitable solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Alert management to any issues that may affect the guest experience.
Promoting:
- Promote special promotions, events, and additional services to guests during reservation interactions.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a Reservations role required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues calmly.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $22.00)
