INDAY All Day ( is an all day neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg, BK inspired by the vibrant flavors, warm hospitality and rich culture of the modern Indian table. From fragrant chai’s, to a bustling lunch and evening cocktails, INDAY is designed to bring true joy to your life. Think California meets Kerala, with a pretty awesome cocktail in hand.


Our General Manager will not only oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, but will play a pivotal role in shaping the team, culture, and customer experience at INDAY All Day. We are specifically looking for an experienced GM who is interested in taking an “owner operator” mentality with skin in the game (and a generous bonus package to match). You will operate the restaurant independently with limited support, and be able to oversee and guide the FOH and BOH team, find great team members, and build relationships with guests while finding creative and intentional ways to surprise and delight them. 

  • Guest Experience and Hospitality Leadership: Lead the team in finding ways to enhance our customer experience through every sales channel (in-store and online) and inspiring them to “wow” our guests at every possible opportunity; Continuously monitor and respond to guest feedback to enhance the guest experience and cultivate a loyal customer base.
  • Financial results: You will have full ownership and accountability for the restaurant’s P&L. You’ll oversee labor, COGS and other food costs to ensure we are meeting our financial goals. You’ll balance day-to-day operational and administrative responsibilities with a focus on short-term and long-term business health.
  • Team Management and Development: All managers including the KM and their team report to the GM. The GM is responsible to hire, train and develop FOH and BOH team members through mentorship, hip-to-hip coaching, and owning the development of every single team member to maintain a high-performing team committed to hospitality, excellence, and achieving business goals. You will also foster a close partnership with the kitchen management team to ensure alignment on business objectives
  • Operational Excellence: You will maintain excellent restaurant standards, including running a clean, safe organized, compliant restaurant that achieves an A letter grade and maintains DOH compliant at all times. You will also remain current and compliant with the correct HR practices and policies, holding employees accountable to all standards and practices, evaluating and/or following disciplinary procedure when necessary

Compensation + Benefits
  • $95K + dependent upon experience
  • PTO Benefits: 2 weeks (80 hours)

Skills and Key Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English and basic Spanish a huge plus
  • The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must have a Department of Health and/or ServSafe certification
  • During the period, you are employed by the Company, you are expected to be available 7 days a week for AM or PM shifts and shall devote your entire business time, attention, and energies to the business of the Company. Our expectation is that a typical work week is 5 days a week, between 45 to 50 hours; as business and circumstance dictate, you may need to work both more days and hours.
  • Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays per the needs of the business

Preferred Experience
  • 5 years in a senior leadership level as GM or higher, overseeing a full-service restaurant
  • Proven Track record overseeing $3 million+ in revenue and with upward career mobility
  • Well versed in restaurant industry specific labor laws.
  • Proficient in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Toast, Resy, and COGS Systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to effectively train, coach, evaluate, and discipline employees.

Compensation: Salary ($95,000.00 - $105,000.00)
