What You'll Do:
- Lead our in-store team to champion The Goods Mart's mission and create a welcoming community for customers and brands.
- Drive sales and exceed targets by empowering team members, setting ambitious goals, and engaging surrounding communities to generate buzz and foot traffic.
- Manage schedules, train team members, and ensure a positive workplace where everyone feels supported.
- Maintain store appearance and enforce merchandising plans to enhance the customer experience and maximize sales potential.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring security, safety, and optimal equipment performance, while managing inventory and communicating variances effectively.
- Cultivate a thriving community in and around our locations through strategic initiatives and engagement efforts.
- Oversee community events, from local gatherings to promotional activities, fostering connections and driving foot traffic and excitement about our products and mission.
- Develop innovative strategies to enhance community involvement and customer loyalty, ultimately boosting sales and building long-term relationships.
What We're Looking For:
- A passionate individual eager to be part of a fast-paced startup and community-driven store environment.
- Past success of driving and increasing sales.
- 1-2 years of experience in FOH management, with a strong background in grocery, retail, or CPG.
- Highly organized and proactive, with a knack for identifying priorities and driving results.
- Experience in launching new services and implementing process improvements in a fast-paced setting.
- A team player who's not afraid to jump into day-to-day tasks, from packing snack boxes to assisting customers.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- An appetite for growth and a readiness to learn from industry experts while helping to shape the future of emerging CPG brands.
