New chaotic restaurant Venhue, located in East Village, is a fun and exciting new fine dining concept. We are a small team committed to ensuring exceptional hospitality, excellent service and most importantly a fun time for our guests.
Tired of working for traditional restaurants? Having a "section" and taking each guests order... so annoying. Venhue is a fast-paced tasting menu that uses a timer to sync the BOH and FOH. Think of it like a Broadway show. Seatings start at a specific set time and each course is delivered on-time to match the experience.
Venhue currently operates Thursday-Saturday for three seatings.
Our Server's schedule is currently 5pm-10:30pm. As Server, you are expected to work side-by-side with the BOH to deliver courses, as well as, pour beverage pairings, pick up plates. fill waters, etc.
Duties & Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional service to every guest.
- Deliver courses on-time with kitchen.
- Pour beverage pairings on-time.
- Pick up dishes and glasses in a timely manner.
- Polish glasses, clean server station and complete other sidework nightly.
- Previous serving experience required (1-2 years).
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs).
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be of legal age according to NY State regulations to serve alcohol (18 years).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Food safety knowledge.
