IGC Hospitality is a home grown NYC hospitality group, looking for like minded,
hospitality focused individuals. We are seeking experienced Food and Beverage managers for all of our very busy outlets at the Rockaway Hotel!
- Reports to Food & Beverage Director.
- Uphold standards of service in each venue by your example.
- Responsible for the successful orchestration of service in the venue.
- Create valuable guest experiences and connections through gracious, engaging, and friendly interactions.
- Maintain consistent presence and participation on the floor.
- Ability to perform each employee’s role on command if service requires.
- Full understanding of each FOH staff responsibilities and tasks.
- Guide, teach, and counsel FOH staff regarding their role and goals.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints with highest level of professionalism, accommodating needs when possible.
- Coordinate with co-managers regarding the placement of FOH Staff to ensure efficient operation of each venue.
- Plan for dining room events by communicating with Chef on duty and staff prior to event using information found on Triple Seat program.
- Restock dining room with necessary supplies for shift.
- Complete manager opening and closing checklist, including daily reports and administrative duties.
- Ensure all opening and closing sidework is completed by FOH staff.
- Assist in overseeing reservation placement, notes, and timing with hosts using Sevenrooms.
- Utilize Basecamp program to access significant TRH documents and discuss projects with IGC co-workers.
