We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team and growing business. We encourage and train teammates to grow and develop skills in each position of the FOH team as we move toward a new direction of a teamwork driven performance in the service industry.

About the company:
PERILLA korean american fare opened in 2019 and is the first of two PERILLA locations in Chicago. Located in the West Loop, PERILLA fare is the original location centered around traditional flavors and ingredients and provides a communal dining experience with table-side grilling. We encourage our guests to join in on the fun and take part in grilling meats, seafood, and vegetables on the grill. We provide an energetic, vibrant, and artistic atmosphere with playful modern interpretations of classic Korean dishes. Whether you're looking for an intimate night out or gather your group of friends for Korean BBQ, we hope you find a unique one-of-a-kind experience tasting the flavors of Korean cuisine and exploring the category of Korean alcohol, known as sool.

Restaurant Information:
•Located at 401 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60654
•2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Michelin Bib Gourmand Recipient
•Independently owned and operated business
•We have a positive, teamwork driven work environment with dedicated leaders who are present and working hands on with the team

•We are open for 7 dinner services
•We are closed all major holidays
•We are easily accessible by the CTA Blue Line or on 56 Milwaukee bus route


Compensation Information:
Paychecks are provided weekly on Thursday
We offer direct deposit through ADP


Position Information:
•You will be required to learn each of the roles in the FOH team
•You will be trained on all operating systems including OpenTable, Toast POS, TripleSeat, and BentoBox
•You will be required to obtain all necessary certificates including a Manager Sanitation Certificate, Food Allergen Certificate, BASSET Certificate and an annual Sexual Harassment Training Certificate
•You will be working directly alongside the Director of Operations and overseeing the FOH team

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $75,000.00)
