This is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals looking to advance their careers, especially in the luxury culinary world. An ideal candidate for the Assistant Floor Manager position will have an understanding of the fundamentals of French pastries and Champagne, as well as a professional demeanor and, most importantly, the desire to learn and envision him/herself as an asset with the potential for growth in the company.
A hospitality or culinary degree is preferred, but not required. Additionally, preferred candidates should have one (or more) long-standing position(s) in their previous job(s).
- Assist in crafting and implementing champagne sales strategies, achieving set sales targets, and managing Champagne Inventory
- Possess extensive champagne knowledge to aid in guest selection, recommendations, and developing training programs for staff education
- Contribute to the development of the dessert bar menu while ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery
- Oversee daily operations, conduct pre-shift meetings, and actively participate in service to ensure consistent execution aligned with company values
- Conduct weekly/monthly inventory, maintain product presentation, and engage in upselling strategies
- Uphold health and safety regulations, oversee administrative tasks, and coordinate events while resolving operational challenges through problem-solving
- Collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and convey a passion for food, wine, and service to guests and colleagues
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in upholding restaurant standards in appearance, conduct, and hospitality throughout all facets of service
