Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Butcher and the Bear. As a pivotal member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards, and fostering a positive work environment for our staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead by example and inspire excellence in our team members. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold our standards of service and professionalism.

  2. Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to, scheduling, inventory management, cost control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

  3. Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Address guest concerns promptly and seek opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction.

  4. Financial Management: Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to maximize profitability. Develop strategies to optimize revenue and minimize expenses without compromising quality.

  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to maintain menu consistency, quality, and innovation. Collaborate with other departments to execute special events and promotions effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume, upscale dining establishment.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including P&L management, inventory control, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
