Round Swamp Farm is the most unique specialty food store in the Hamptons - offering a 15 acre farm - as well as a state of the art 15,000 sq ft. bakery and kitchen where our family and staff prepare farm to table prepared entrees, finger foods, salads, and desserts. We are looking to hire dedicated, trained bakers who are passionate about fresh, seasonal, unique foods. If baking from scratch with the best ingredients in a busy and exciting environment excites you, then you should consider applying. Open positions include bakers apprentice to assist our baker Lisa with recipe preparation, and hands-on baking. Our family recipes have been developed over many years and reflect the rustic but satisfying simplicity of farm living, using locally harvested fruits, high quality real butter, cream, eggs and flours, as well as a selection of healthy baked goods which feature vegetarian, and vegan options. Any experience with gluten free baking is a plus - this is an area we are interested in learning more about. We are looking for the following qualities: cleanliness is mandatory, works safely and efficiently, able to prioritize tasks and provide consistent quality in food preparation and presentation. Applicants must be willing to work long hours on their feet in a fast paced but collaborative and fulfilling environment. A person who brings passion for learning new things and shows an enthusiastic sense of creativity as well as experience and knowledge of baking would be the ideal candidate.
