Job Details

We are looking for creative and passionate individuals with a sharp attention to detail to be a part of our collaborative kitchen!

The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen understanding of seasonal ingredients. As Chef de Cuisine, you will work directly with our Executive Chef and play a pivotal role in driving culinary innovation, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and leading a team of dedicated kitchen staff.

You will be responsible for daily food preparation, execution of recipes, prep, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining kitchen production, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen space. Other duties include collaborating with the front of house team and promoting a positive work environment.

There is room to grow within the kitchen and within the company!

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of culinary experience in a similar role and/or fine dining establishments
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment, preferably with a focus on small plates or tapas.
  • Excellent kitchen knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Understanding of French, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisine a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food quality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other team members
  • Food safety and sanitation certification a plus
  • Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of seasonal ingredients and flavor profiles.
  • Proficiency in menu development, recipe creation, and cost control measures.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, with a commitment to upholding high standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
