We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager. Holidays, and open schedule availability a must.
-Manage kitchen staff and execute rotating seasonal menus.
-Create ingredient lists, inventory sheets, order sheets, and setting pars
-Supervise food prep and cooking.
-Hands-on approach in leading kitchen staff/line work; covering line cooks/prep cooks
-Check food plating and temperatures to ensure consistency
-Order food supplies and kitchen equipment
-Assist in training kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques.
-Keep weekly and monthly cost reports.
-Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
Requirements and skills:
-Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous chef
-Hands-on experience in ordering/development of pars/ordering systems.
-Strong knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Conflict management abilities.
-Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
-Availability for evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
Valid Food Handler's Certification
2 years minimum experience in high paced kitchen environment
Service industry standards of ethics, core values, and respect for colleagues.
Bilingual a plus but not required
