Faun is looking for an experienced barista/busser. The barista will provide coffee service during our weekend brunch services (Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM-3 PM) and will be a busser 2-3 dinner services/week. 

Barista Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the coffee station
• Preparing coffee and tea beverages to the highest standard
• Maintaining cleanliness of the coffee station during high-volume service
• Answering guest questions about Faun’s coffee program
• Providing support to back servers and servers, such as running and polishing stock

Busser Responsibilities

• Back servers are responsible for the logistical elements of floor service, including: 
• Setting up and breaking down the floor in collaboration with servers
• Greeting guests 
• Watering tables
• Clearing and resetting tables between courses in collaboration with servers
• Taking guest orders and answering guest questions in collaboration with servers
• Ensuring the the floor remains well stocked throughout service

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the restaurant industry
• At least 1 year of specialty coffee experience
• A food handler’s license or willingness to get one
• Strong communication and problem solving skills!
