Who we are looking for:

• Individual with 1-2 years experience as a Barista or Head Barista in Specialty coffee
• Strong technical Barista knowledge and skills (extraction, texturing, pouring)
• Someone who is keen to train, mentor, and support teammates in their coffee education

• Master the art of making coffee on La Marzocco espresso machinery
• Uphold the standards of the Elena James coffee and beverage program by closely monitoring the beverage products that each Barista/Server produces
• Provide genuine connection and hospitality to each and every guest that enters the store
• Train, educate and acclimate new baristas into Elena James systems
• Manage dialing in of coffees and calibration of grinders and brewing equipment through strong technical understanding of extraction and brew variables
• Familiar with coffee product rotation, ordering, and inventory management
• Follows Elena James recipes and presentation standards in a timely manner
• Follow all health & safety standards to operate a clean and organized work space
